Timothy Sams Appointed Vice President for Student Life at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

Timothy Sams comes to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as Vice President for Student Life from New York University Abu Dhabi, where he served as Associate Dean of Students. Prior to that he served as Assistant Dean of the College and Director of the Black Cultural Center at Swarthmore College. He earned his PhD in African American Studies from Temple University.
