Campus Safety / Law Enforcement

In the search industry, both our knowledge of the field of campus law enforcement and our network are extensive—all of which translates into our ability to understand the needs and aspirations of our client institutions and to deliver talented candidates equipped to meet the challenges and leadership demands that face public safety divisions in this current climate. In our twenty-six year history, we have completed more than forty searches for campus law enforcement professionals across a wide range of higher education institutions, and the Spelman Johnson confidential, proprietary database contains contact information for nearly five thousand campus law enforcement professionals.

Spelman Johnson is an active member of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) and Spelman Johnson search consultants have presented at the National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives (NAWLEE). Additionally, Spelman Johnson was honored to have been chosen to conduct the searches that placed Sue Riseling as the first full-time executive director of IACLEA and Kim Vansell Richmond as the inaugural director of the National Center for Campus Public Safety.
