Peter W. Rosenberg
Higher Education Consultant and Senior Advisor to the Board
Peter’s career in higher education spanned 25 years, during which time he worked at institutions across the country: Washington State University, Colorado State University, James Madison University, the University of Washington, and Western Washington University. In addition to his on-campus responsibilities, Peter served in a variety of elected leadership positions including service on the Executive Board of the Association of College and University Housing Officers – International, as President of the Northwest Association of College and University Housing Officers, and on the faculty of the National Housing Training Institute. He taught as a clinical affiliated faculty member in Western Washington University’s Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education graduate program, consulted with institutions/associations undergoing strategic development, and was a frequent presenter at national and regional conferences.
Peter has presented in workshops and leadership programs in a variety of settings including NASPA’s national conference, ACUHO-I’s annual conference, the American Council on Education’s Office of Women in Higher Education (OWHE) Leadership Forums, the NASPA V/VI Mid-Level Training Institute (for student affairs leaders aspiring to be vice presidents or in other senior leadership roles), The Placement Exchange, Western Washington’s Teaching-Learning Academy, and for higher education graduate programs including LSU, Colorado State, and Virginia Tech.
Peter received his B.S. in psychology and English from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and his M.Ed. in student personnel administration from Colorado State University. His current responsibilities encompass search management, client and candidate relations, and new business development.
